HOW DO I RESERVE A PUPPY?

The first step is completing our Puppy Application. Once your application has been reviewed, we'll contact you to discuss availability, timing, and whether a Golden Boy Farm puppy is the right fit for your family.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR PUPPIES?

Puppy pricing typically ranges from $2000 - $2500 depending on the litter and availability.

WHAT HEALTH TESTING DO YOU PERFORM?

The health and well-being of our dogs is one of our highest priorities. We work with OFA to test Hips and Elbows on our Golden Retrievers. We extremely careful when we select our breeding males to make sure all appropriate and recommended testing is done on them before breeding them with our mamas!

ARE YOUR PUPPIES AKC REGISTERED?

Yes. All Golden Boy Farm puppies are eligible for AKC registration.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Golden Boy Farm is located in Shelbyville Kentucky.

DO YOU OFFER BREEDING RIGHTS?

Most of our puppies are placed as family companions. Breeding rights may be considered on a limited, case-by-case basis.

WHEN CAN MY PUPPY COME HOME?

Puppies typically go home at 8 weeks of age. This allows them time to properly develop and socialize with their littermates and mother.

WHAT COMES WITH MY PUPPY?

Each Golden Boy Farm puppy goes home with:

• AKC registration paperwork

• Age-appropriate vaccinations

• Veterinary health records

• A health guarantee

• Starter food

• A collar, toys, and blanket that smells like mama.

• A puppy care guide

• Lifetime breeder support

HOW ARE GOLDEN BOY PUPPIES RAISED?

Our puppies are raised with love and intention as part of our family. They have been raised with our other Goldens (Finn, Jetty, and River), barn cats, chickens, bunnies, and kids! We focus on early socialization, positive experiences, and age-appropriate enrichment to help each puppy develop into a confident companion.

CAN I CHOOSE MY PUPPY?

Puppy placement is based on the order that you pay your deposit and what gender preference you hold. After 8 weeks when the puppies are ready- we will offer ONE day with hour long window slots based on the order you signed up. You and your family can come to Golden Boy Farm and spend some time with the puppies and pick which one you have the sweetest connection with!

DO YOU HAVE A WAITLIST?

Yes. Because we prioritize quality over quantity, many families choose to join our waitlist before puppies are available.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS AFTER I GET HOME?
