Our Story

It All Started With Finn.

Every great story starts with one dog.

For us, that dog was Finn.

After graduating college, Erin saved her money and made the decision to get her dream dog. She knew she wanted a boy, and there was only one male puppy in the litter she was considering. From the moment she met him, she knew he was the one.

When Erin brought Finn home, everything changed.

What started as one dog quickly became a family affair. Finn's gentle temperament, loving personality, and unwavering loyalty captured the hearts of everyone around him. Before long, Erin's entire family had fallen in love—not only with Finn, but with the Golden Retriever breed itself.

Inspired by the joy Finn brought into their lives, Erin's parents later welcomed two Golden Retrievers of their own into the family. Over the years, the love for the breed only continued to grow, and we have since added Jetty, another beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever, to our family.

Through Finn, we discovered what makes Golden Retrievers so special. Their ability to bring people together. Their gentle nature. Their intelligence, loyalty, and endless capacity for love. They aren't just pets—they become part of the family.

That's what inspired Golden Boy Farm.

Our mission isn't simply to breed puppies. It's to raise healthy, confident, well-socialized companions that grow into lifelong family members. Every puppy is raised with intention, love, and a commitment to preserving the qualities that made us fall in love with Finn in the first place.

From our Kentucky farm, we focus on health, temperament, and responsible breeding practices to ensure every puppy has the best possible start in life.
